  • Allows you to de-stress
  • Increases cognitive abilities

  • Boost productivity

Here are some of the self care tips you can practice as an entrepreneur.

#1 have clear boundaries

This is one of the most challenging concepts for business owners. You can’t do everything, and it’s okay to say no.

You will be asked to come to meetings, help out with something, hop on a quick phone call. If you don’t put your foot down and say no to some of these things, you will never be able to work toward your overall goal.

Boundaries will also help you in stress management, physical well-being and the development of healthy partnerships.

#1 Establish a healthy routine

As an entrepreneur, it is so important to have healthy routine that works for you. Without a routine, you will never be able to establish a balance in your life. Try to find a balance between being committed and being workaholic.

When forming routine, think about the things that bring you joy. Is it going for a run? Walking your dog or exercising? Try to incorporate atleast one of these things into your daily routine.

#3 Take breaks.

By setting aside just 15 minutes each day to focus breathing, you can reduce stress- enabling you to run your business better.

I know this Is another difficult one, especially when you start working on something and want to finish it.

But taking breaks is important, this helps with avoiding burnout, it’s also great if you’re stuck on something and can’t figure it out.

Taking a break can also help you come back with fresh ideas and help you figure out without wasting as much time.

#4 Treat yourself (‘me’ time)

When you are struggling with burn out, you might need to totally disconnect for a bit. Whether it’s just going on a day trip or heading out of town or a week, it can be so beneficial to get a change of scenery and put work aside.

Create time for yourself, where you can focus on a hobby or something you enjoy, will reduce your stress and give you more optimistic mindset once you’re ready to begin working again

#5 Practice mindfulness

Practicing mindfulness helps you to live the moment and take each moment on at a time. This is a great way to see what you’ve achieved and how far you have come.

It also plays a role in improving productivity while helping you make smarter decisions.

Being caught up in what we want to accomplish can make us miss all the small goals that we have accomplish and all the thing we’ve learned along the day.

#6 Delegate and out source.

Do not be afraid to hand over important work or beloved clients to someone else.

Be willing to incur the cost of someone helping you-sharing profit and giving up a bit of control. Make yourself available to answer questions and assist when issues come up, but remember that dealing with every work related problem immediately isn’t necessary. You can and should trust others.
